The Navy D-Day Monument at Normandy dedication date is now set for

September 27, 2008.

The dedication ceremony is being coordinated by the town of Ste. Marie-du-Mont in Normandy and the Naval Order of the United States.  It will take place at Utah Beach in Normandy at the site donated by the French, adjacent to the Utah Beach Museum.  The dedication will be part of a five-day tour being offered for this event by Historic Tours, Inc., the Official Tour Guide of the Naval Order.  The Tour will begin and end in Paris and will include all receptions and events relating to the dedication of the monument.  Full details for the tour package can be found and reservations made by visiting http://ww2tours.com on the Internet or by calling their toll free number 1-800-222-1170.
