Wishing a joyous Holiday Season and a healthy, gratifying New Year

December 22, 2025

Companions,

Recognizing that Naval Order Companions hail from numerous traditions and celebrate the winter holidays in even more numerous ways, I’ll take this opportunity to wish you all a joyous holiday season and a healthy, gratifying New Year.

Each and every one of you is important to the Order whether you simply enjoy reading the NOUS Newsletter or give substantial time and energy towards helping us accomplish our mission of preserving maritime history monuments and artifacts, promoting the general publics U.S. maritime history awareness, and cultivating camaraderie among our members. That said, I invite those of you who are less actively engaged in NOUS to increase your level of participation. Attend a commandery function, watch one of our more than 100 YouTube lecture recordings, contact your Commandery Commander and ask how your unique talents might be put to good use for the good of the Order.
