Our efforts for the Year will include improved communication, outreach to promote Naval History, and continuing to promote efforts to capture our own Oral Histories via whatever means available.

Share a bit of your past memories of the Season with all of us! We have placed a blog on the website where you can reflect on the times we were away during our service and what that meant to each of us or just the experience itself….there are a lot of stories out there.

We have opened a blog on the Web Site which we welcome your comments on this Day and especially those who may have been there. YOU are our living history; keep this Day alive in the memories of ALL!

I want to say again how grateful I am for the opportunity to serve the Order as we do the many things to honor and respect the Naval Heritage that you and our predecessors have put in place. Each of you, along with your families, own a piece of that Heritage. Each of the deployments you were a part of, decisions you made, crew members you trained, and families you raised all had effects on lives you may have not seen or realized. Your actions, professional and personal, influenced others and should be remembered (yes even the liberty stories).
