Summer is often reunion season for ships and staffs that shaped us into who we are today. Some reunion groups are long-standing with an extensive history of get togethers, others have only had a smattering of reunion opportunities here and there. Look up an old ship, Unit, or staff in Proceedings, Navy Times and other publications or websites and see if one of your past commands is getting together. Use these opportunities to stimulate the Oral Histories all of our shipmates have to offer.

Our efforts for the Year will include improved communication, outreach to promote Naval History, and continuing to promote efforts to capture our own Oral Histories via whatever means available.

Share a bit of your past memories of the Season with all of us! We have placed a blog on the website where you can reflect on the times we were away during our service and what that meant to each of us or just the experience itself….there are a lot of stories out there.
