Each of you, with those with whom you served formed an impregnable wall of freedom and liberty which we will always remember, always celebrate, always honor, and preserve through the recognition of the history and events which brought us to where we are today!

Fifty years have passed since the final American military forces left Vietnam and our remaining prisoners of war were returned. Even after the passage of five decades, we still owe these veterans a large debt of gratitude.

Naval Order is doing many things to keep a focus on history alive: monthly meetings, the Monthly History presentation, placement of historical markers and monuments, our History Day competitions, and just general dialogue that supports the remembrance of the events so important to our heritage.

As we enjoy family and memories of past and current joys, take a few minutes to go through your old memories and write down the where, when and who of those old and crinkled shots.  Share the memories with friends and family as you continue to document these wonderful years and create your own oral history.
