Moderator: Command Master Chief Tom Boone
Special luncheon honoring Sailors, Marines and Coast Guard in Town for Fleet Week on Monday, October 12th. Our Illustrious in-house Command Master Chief Tom Boone will lead a discussion with our special guests talking about the "State of the Fleet" from their perspective. Please come and introduce yourself to one our men and women serving their country. The Luncheon will be held the usual time at the Italian Athletic Club in North Beach. It is open to all our companions and their guests.
However, we would appreciate an RSVP so we can give the IAC a good count as to how many meals they should have available. Please email MCCS Bob Hansen, USN (Ret.) at jocsusnr@aol.com with yea or no with a count and names of attendees (including yourself). Some of you have already notified us of your intentions but we would appreciate a repeat response to make sure your name is on the list. If you don't rsvp but decide to attend at the last minute we will try to accommodate you subject to meal availability.
The Social Hour starts at 1100 with the Program commencing at noon.
Our Luncheon is at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club. Discounted parking is available at the garage at 721 Filbert, just on the other side of Columbus Avenue.
$50 per person at the door
Social Hour 11:00 a.m. and Luncheon at 12:00 p.m., followed by our speaker/presentation. Secure at 13:30. Guests are welcome.
The Italian Athletic Club is on Washington Square at 1630 Stockton St. (between Filbert and Union and near Columbus and Powell), San Francisco. Validated parking is at the 721 Filbert Street. Garage, about a block from the IAC. Parking is also available at the 766 Vallejo Street Garages (between Powell and Columbus).
